Civic schools are un-american - politics
Compulsory-attendance laws force parents to send their kids to broadcast schools. These laws dare that the politicians we vote into office, our agents, have the right to take away parents' liberty and indisputable rights. Compulsory edification means that in America, converse to the communal view, we no longer live in the land of the free. Local and state governments that claim the right to be in command of our children's culture also claim, in effect, that they own our children's minds and lives for twelve years. That is an appallingly arrogant claim, exceptionally in America. One basis civic schools get away with enlightening murder, year after year, is for the reason that local governments violate parents' liberty and parental human rights with impunity. Local governments don't own or run food stores, auto showrooms, office-supply stores, or pre-schools and concealed colleges in America. Yet they own the broadcast schools and charge 1st all through 12th grade learning in America. Do administration officials have any right to dictate how we must educate our children? To key this question, we have to analyze what our Founding Fathers tacit to be the real act of government. In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson evidently affirmed the moral description and aim of government: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are formed equal, that they are capable by their initiator with a selection of immutable rights, that among these civil rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness-that to assure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. . . . " The Declaration of Disinterestedness affirms that we have actual constitutional rights as human beings to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. " It establishes the belief that we, the people, drama alone and by free consent, fashioned our authority only to defend and assure our accepted civil liberties as human beings. That is government's sole legitimate function. Look again at the couch from the Declaration that says, "governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. " The "governed" means all the people, not just some, not a minority, and not a majority. It means that all citizens, counting parents, have the same absolute rights. That couch also means that command is our agent, not our master. It means that we, as free human beings, voluntarily grant inadequate powers to command for a definite purpose, to defend our artless rights. It means that authority must only have those powers we distinctively grant to it for that purpose. Yet, nowhere in the Constitution is the word "education" mentioned. The Constitution did not give the national command any right or power to charge how parents educate their children. By implication, state governments do not have any such right or power either, for the reason that such a power would violate our basic liberties. Nature and evenhandedness back up that parents have the right to conclude who educates their children. Like parents of all species, most human parents care for and care for their kids and teach them the skills and data they need to survive. Parents in all cultures make credo their brood a first priority. Since reading, writing, and math are skills looked-for to flourish in a current society, it stands to argue that most parents will find a way to teach these skills to their kids if the means are available.
